We selected a brand archetype to help us establish and communicate our brand in a way that is understandable for everyone.

When we chose the brand archetype, we agreed that at Kentico we care about your success and it is our number one priority. It is important for us to help everyone in our ecosystem (including customers, partners, and employees) grow and guide you on your way towards your goals.

After many discussions, it was more than clear that the brand archetype that fits our company the best is the Mentor.

We are the Mentor you were looking for

At Kentico, we are all trying to behave like the best Mentors anyone can have. Our Mentors can connect the dots and inspire people. We are exceptional teachers and trainers who empower others and give people the freedom to find their own way to do things. To enable the kind of intimacy and trust required to fulfill this role, the Mentors must be someone in whom trust can be placed without reservation. And that is something we all strive for.

Everything Mentors do is based on a desire to make sure the mentees reach the right outcomes and successes that they would like to achieve. Mentors collaborate with those around them (colleagues, partners, clients, communities, …) and build an environment that enables open and transparent communication. Relationships with peers may extend for long periods of time during which the Mentors remain as advisors and support through multiple engagements.

Mentors are great listeners who can hold a large container of seemingly unrelated puzzle pieces. Also, as excellent judges of character, the Mentors possess a great curiosity about what makes people tick and an advanced ability to discern between authenticity and insincere behaviour. With all that in mind, Mentors can deliver messages with information, guidance, and encouragement for what some might deem the “call to adventure.” But Mentors need to be careful about the tendency to become controlling or prescriptive, as well as their susceptibility to burnout from supporting others if not balanced with support of self.
