Typography

Brands use typefaces to express their personality and tone. A thoughtful type system not only boosts brand recognition but also improves the legibility and clarity of every message.

Primary typeface

We use one font family for all environments—GT Walsheim from Grilli Type—for all print, web, and broadcast media.

The primary weights for Kentico are Regular and Bold.

Other weights like Ultra Light, Thin, Light, Medium, Black, and Ultra Bold should be used carefully and only to supplement the core styles.

GT Walsheim must be used in all brand touchpoints, including print materials, internal documents, marketing assets, and user interfaces.

Headers are always black. Every H1 and H2 headline must end with an orange dot, exclamation mark, or question mark—a distinctive signature of the Kentico visual identity.

Secondary typeface

Inter is our new secondary typeface, chosen for its clarity, accessibility, and web performance. It’s a modern, open-source font optimized for screen legibility and digital environments.

Inter should be used in:

  • Presentations
  • Internal documentation
  • Email templates
  • Applications where GT Walsheim is not available

This ensures typographic consistency across environments where licensing or performance make GT Walsheim impractical—without sacrificing our clean, human-centered visual voice.
